We are a locally owned and operated Newcastle optometrist practice, established since 1999, and located at Marketown Shopping Centre, Newcastle West.

At Marketown Optical (incorporating Willson Optometrists), we pride ourselves on our friendly, professional service. If you’ve had difficulty in the past getting used to glasses or contact lenses, or if you’ve had any other eye or vision problem that couldn’t be solved by your previous optometrist, come and see us!

• We are not part of an foreign-owned corporate chain - we're proudly 100% Australian (Newcastle) family owned and operated
• We are not listed on the sharemarket, and we do not have shareholders expecting a dividend each year
• We do not import casual optometrists or managers from Sydney or from other "branches" to cover absences
• We do not employ "sales" staff working for commission - we only employ optometrists and optical dispensers who are fully qualified
